SBS alumnus wins Study UK's Business & Innovation Award 2024

Strathclyde Business School alumnus Nabeel Qadeer has been named global winner in the British Council Study UK Alumni Awards Business and Innovation 2024 category.
Nabeel graduated with an MSc in Business & Management from SBS in 2012 and has since become a pivotal figure in Pakistan's entrepreneurial landscape. As an innovator, Nabeel is key in influencing the entrepreneurial landscape in Pakistan. He has spearheaded ground-breaking initiatives, including the creation of Plan9 Tech Incubator and hosting Idea Croron Ka - Pakistan's first business reality show - showcasing his commitment to democratising entrepreneurship. Nabeel has also taken on global roles, serving as CEO of the Commonwealth Youth Innovation Hub and contributing to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development–Commonwealth Entrepreneurship Project for Pakistan.
The Business and Innovation category award is for alumni who are active in initiating and contributing to innovative or creative new ideas, solutions or business opportunities, that have the potential for growth.
A global judging panel assessed all 28 finalists in the four categories before making their final decision - all winners and finalists are UK university alumni with outstanding success stories, representing 25 UK universities and 22 countries.
