Climate Change Advisory Panel role for finance professor

Dimitris Andriosopoulos, Professor of Finance and the Founding Director of the Responsible Business Institute (ReBI) at Strathclyde Business School, has become a member of ClimateXChange’s Advisory Panel which provides a research, advice and analysis service to policy teams at the Scottish Government and associated public agencies.

ClimateXChange (CXC) is one of four Scottish Government centres of expertise. They commission research on policy relevant questions across net zero and resilience for Scottish Government policy teams.

The panel is important in providing expertise and links across climate change mitigation, adaptation and just transition policy relevant topics. Advisory panel members can also get involved in individual research projects to advise on methodological approaches, research ethics and interdisciplinary research.

The first meeting of what is a new and extended panel will take place on September 18 at Edinburgh Climate Change Institute.
