Strathclyde delegation hosted by Beijing Institute of Technology
A delegation from Strathclyde Business School and the Humanities and Social Sciences faculty have been welcomed to the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) for a visit to strengthen and further develop the long-term international partnership between the two institutions.
Alongside colleagues from both faculties, Professor David Hillier, Associate Principal and Executive Dean of Strathclyde Business School, and Professor Ian Rivers, Associate Principal and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, met with their counterparts at BIT including Professor Yiming Wei, Vice President of BIT, and Professor Tian Song, Dean, School of Education at BIT.
Professor Rivers also gave a guest lecture to BIT students on the theme 'Who Programmes the Programmer' during the visit.
