A winning night for Strathclyde Business School Quiz
Entrepreneur Shaf Rasul was quizmaster at Strathclyde Business School’s quiz challenge last night (February 22) which was organised to celebrate the Business School being named Times Higher Education (THE) Business School of the Year.
Teams from companies such as Santander, William Grant & Sons, Weir Group and MCR Holdings were put through their business paces along with Strathclyde Business Fellows, alumni from our executive programmes. They were joined by teams of undergraduate and postgraduate students for some tough questions.
Executive Dean of Strathclyde Business School Professor David Hillier and Principal of the University of Strathclyde Professor Sir Jim MacDonald welcomed guests and introduced Shaf Rasul as quizmaster.
The Great Big Business School Challenge was a chance for everyone to come together to help celebrate the Business School’s THE award as well as putting business knowledge to the test, with lots of opportunities for networking throughout the evening.
A fantastic night was had by all, none more so than eventual and worthy winners, the McCance team which was hosted by the Marketing department’s Juliette Wilson.
Professor Hillier said, “Our business quiz was a great night with lots of engagement, competition and fun. Feedback from our external clients has been extremely positive and we’re delighted so many turned up to celebrate with us in this way."
