Engage with Strathclyde week provides insight into business and university partnerships

Strathclyde Business School has a varied range of events lined up for Engage with Strathclyde week, which is a celebration of Strathclyde's partnerships with business, public and third sector organisations.

During the week (April 30-May 4), visitors will find out how they can work with the University to develop research for new products and services, discover new training and development opportunities, view technologies available for licensing, and gain support to improve their competitiveness in today's challenging economic environment.

They can also meet with internationally-renowned academics with expertise in sectors including food and drink, health, sustainability, engineering, energy technologies, the creative industries, education and business.

Those attending will be able to gain insight into how business can add value by working with the University – there will be seminars from businesses already working with Strathclyde academics; forums on developing better processes for businesses and organisations – including the subjects of social media and marketing, and realising the potential of workers of all ages, and what drives innovation in business.

The week will culminate in the Engage with Strathclyde Showcase on Friday May 4 at the University's Barony Hall from 10am – 2.30pm, which will offer visitors a unique insight into the breadth of knowledge exchange activity within the University and the opportunity to network.
