Paper of the Year Award for HRM academics

Professors Dora Scholarios and Phil Taylor (HRM) have won the Paper of the Year Award 2011 from the leading 4* journal, Human Relations. The paper was entitled, "Beneath the glass ceiling: Explaining gendered role segmentation in call centres" and was published in Human Relations in October 2011.

The Human Relations Paper of the Year Award is given to the paper that the Editorial Team considers 'best encapsulates broad readership appeal, sound methods, and whose theory advances our understanding of human relations at work'. The award is to be formally announced in the next print issue, on the journal's website and its next newsletter and at the Human Relations Reception at the Academy of Management meeting in August.
