At its recent annual conference in Rotterdam, the European Academy of Management conferred its first Fellowships on distinguished professors for services to the Academy and to academia internationally – and Professor Peter McKiernan, Department of Management, was among this first group.
Professor McKiernan is the first UK-based management professor to hold Fellowships from both the British and European Academies of Management. Currently, Professor McKiernan is interim Head of the Business School's Department of Management.
Fellowships were also conferred on Professors Joan Enric Ricart (IESE, Spain), Thomas Durand (HEC, France), Neils Noorderhaven (Tilburg, Holland), and Anne Huff (Maynooth, Ireland).
