MBM students get tough

The summer months sees members of the MSc Business and Management engaged in their dissertation/projects. Often they are working for client organisations, so as well as grappling with the latest business ideas, course members are striving to provide busy managers with advice that responds to the complex environments in which they operate. As if this wasn’t enough, Patrycja Pytlik, Alex Slesarenko and Jun Namikoshi decided that they needed to balance their mental exertions with a physical challenge in the shape of the ‘Tough Mudder’ at Drumlanrig Castle. Billed as “probably the toughest event on the planet” Patrycja, Alex and Jun braved eleven miles of running, water obstacles, jumps, ice, mud and even electric shocks to emerge victorious on the other side. Their sense of achievement was only matched by the camaraderie and team spirit as they crowned what has been a monumental year studying at Strathclyde.
