There was a huge turn-out for the first part of the independence conversations, which saw Alex Salmond in conversation with Jon Snow on November 23 as part of the Fraser of Allander lecture series.
The two-part conversation – sponsored by Strathclyde Business School- has been organised by The Herald and the International Network of Street Papers and took place in Strathclyde’s Barony Hall.
Jon Snow, channel 4 news presenter and ambassador for the INSP, which represents 120 street papers worldwide, including the Big Issue, discussed the implications of independence with the First Minister, Alex Salmond.
