Full time FT Global MBA Ranking 2013 success

Strathclyde Business School's full time MBA programme has been ranked in this year’s Financial Times Global MBA ranking which lists the top 100 in the world each year.

Out of thousands of business schools worldwide, only those that are accredited (AACSB or EQUIS) and meet strict criteria are eligible to take part in the FT ranking.

This ranking makes Strathclyde Business School the only triple accredited and ranked business school in Scotland, and confirms our status as number one in Scotland. We are placed in the top 25 of European business schools ranked and, reflecting the increasing competitive nature of business schools globally, one of only 11 business schools in the UK to be included in the ranking.

Professor Susan Hart, Dean of Strathclyde Business School, said, "Inclusion in international rankings, such as those published in the Financial Times, along with our triple accreditation status reinforce our standing as a leading international business school.

"The University of Strathclyde was also recently named the Times Higher Education UK University of the Year. This prestigious award reflects the high-quality research and educational experience provided for our students.

"These recent successes support our approach of working directly with leading businesses to ensure students gain a qualification that enables them to make an impact on the wider society."

The FT’s ranking follows on the back of other recent plaudits, namely; reaccreditation by EQUIS for the maximum 5 year period; ranked in The Economist’s top 100 global MBA programmes; ranked in the FT’s top European graduate business schools.

The rankings take into account information provided by the school and information provided by alumni from three years ago (graduates of 2009) and looks at salary increase, value for money, career progression, as well as faculty and research.
