Mr Khandker Mamun represented the Department of Marketing at the prestigious American Marketing Association (AMA)- Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium held this month. The annual Doctoral Consortium, the 48th in the series, took place from the June 6-9 at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business in the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, USA.
A total of 118 doctoral candidates participated at the Consortium this year and each of them represented a globally renowned Business School offering doctoral programmes in marketing. The Consortium provided Khandker with a unique chance to meet other consortium fellows and also to interact with 109 invited Consortium Faculties – a veritable ‘who’s who’ of marketing.
Each year, the Marketing Department nominates and sends a doctoral candidate to attend this highly prestigious, invitation-only, Consortium, which allows the student first class exposure to top level global research talent, expertise and contacts in the marketing field.
