Business PhD studentships available

Excellent PhD applicants have the opportunity to apply for a variety of fully-funded studentships currently being offered by Strathclyde Business School. All studentships are competitive and tenable for 3 years full-time study from October 2013. They cover fees at Home/EU or non-EU international rates, plus an annual stipend of approximately £14,000. The ideal candidate is expected to hold a First Class Honours undergraduate degree or a Master's degree with distinction in a relevant business and management or related social science discipline.

There are four main routes for studentships:

• The politics of international accounting standard setting
• How risky is climate change? The impact of perceptions of climate risk on debt finance and stranded assets
• Exploring the extent and nature of accounting, accountability and entrepreneurial thinking in the Third Sector
• Workplace innovation: How do manufacturing organisations transform their workplaces when adopting new business strategies?
• The impact of innovation on sustainability in the supply chain. Implications for the Scottish Food and Drink sector
• Entrepreneurial leadership and organizational performance
• Computationally efficient decision support for Strategic Dynamic Bayesian Network models
• Mitigating risk in strategic supply network design
• Dynamic systemic strategic risk modelling. An analysis of historical explorations to inform risk management thinking
