Workshop on expert judgement

The department of Management Science hosted a workshop on Expert Judgement on August 16. The workshop is the fourth in a collaborative series with the Universities of Brunel, Durham and Salford on Mathematical Methods in Reliability funded by the London Mathematical Society.

The workshop was chaired by Professor John Quigley who said, "It was a great success, bringing together industrialists and academics, from the UK to Hong Kong, discussing both theory and practice of eliciting and using structured expert judgement to support decision making under uncertainty".
