SBS welcomes new research students

Strathclyde Business School would like to welcome our new postgraduate research students to what is a successful and thriving research community. So far this year SBS has registered a total of 49 new postgraduate research students - 35 PhDs, 1 DBA, 10 MPhils, and 3 MRes.

The Business School aims to broaden the international experience of all its research students as well as attracting the highest quality international students. Studying for a postgraduate research degree at SBS provides opportunities for internships at highly regarded institutions worldwide. The business school also supports students to present their work at international conferences.

Recent internationalisation initiatives have included collaborative studentships with Dalhousie University in Canada, and support for high profile international academics to act as mentors in students' research projects.

This year will see research students working on high profile research projects such as the Enterprise Research Centre, the 'Changing Employment' Marie Curie research and research aligned with the EPSRC-funded project "Resilience and Robustness of Dynamic Manufacturing Supply Networks".
