The alumni organisation of the Swiss Centre in Zurich (SMAAS) held its 11th General Assembly at the Radisson BLU Hotel Zurich Airport on November 22.
Next to the general business of the general assembly, three new board members were elected:
David Alexander will act as president for the coming year, with Ram Krishnamurthy and Jon-Andri Mantel covering events.
SMAAS welcomed Marco Grueter and Adrian Fluri from BROTSEITEN, as its special guest speakers for this event. BROTSEITEN is an award-winning start-up company providing exclusive short stories from diverse authors that do not take longer to read than 20 minutes, making it a perfect solution while on the train to work, during break or for an occasional quick read. Both speakers talked about the process from putting an idea into a business plan to launching the product. They also shared their learning on motivation and obstacles when founding their company.
