Presentations to Scottish Government's "ClimateXChange" annual meeting

Peter McGregor and Grant Allan (Economics and Fraser of Allander (FAI)) presented at the annual meeting of "ClimateXChange" - the Scottish Government's prestigious Centre of Expertise in Climate Change - to an audience of researchers and stakeholders from across the Scottish energy policy community on September 11.

Professor McGregor spoke on the range of research activities in the Economics department on energy-economy-environmental modelling in both the ClimateXChange project and across the range of other externally-funded work in energy in Economics and FAI. Grant Allan discussed research currently underway in the "Decoupling emissions and growth" research area of this project, titled "Understanding employment in low carbon and renewable activities in Scotland".

The ClimateXChange project began in 2011 and is currently funded until Spring 2016.
