Management Science student worthy winner of DSTL prize

Student Melanie Rankin has been awarded the DSTL Prize for work carried out as part of the MSc Business Analysis and Consulting.

Each year, the student with the best mark in the class 'Becoming an Effective Business Analyst' for the MSc Business Analsyis and Consulting is awarded with a prize, generously sponsored by DSTL.

The class is a key component of the MSc course, not only due to its 40 credit weight but also the invaluable experiences the students gain throughout the year in this class, as it involves many case studies and projects with real clients from various industries and government organisations.

This year’s winner Melanie Rankin has shown a great performance throughout the class (as well as in the MSc course in general, which she completed with a well-earned distinction).

A spokesperson for the management science department said, "We congratulate Melanie for her important accomplishment, and wish her all the best in her future career."
