Economics academic joins debate panel on future for offshore wind

Grant Allan (Economics and Fraser of Allander Institute) took part in a debate panel at the FutureWind conference on January 14. The panel discussed recent developments in offshore renewables and the possible impacts that the upcoming general election could have on the wind energy industry in the UK.

This student-run conference – organised by doctoral research students in the University's Centre of Doctoral Training in UK Wind Energy Research – brought together over 50 participants from across academia and industry to showcase the students' cutting edge research, and also featured a keynote speech from Ignatio Marti of ORE Catapult.
