Global Conclave Conference

Professor Phil Taylor, Vice Dean International, participated at the Institute of Management Technology - Ghaziabad (IMT-G) Global Partners Conclave February 2-3. Strathclyde Business School signed a Minute of Understanding (MoU) last year with this leading (ranked 7th overall in the latest Economic Times list) Indian private business school which has campuses in Ghaziabad (near Delhi) and also in Hyderabad and Nagpur.

SBS has also progressed a partnership with IMT in Dubai which is leading to students from their MBA taking a PGT at Strathclyde in their second year and has seen Faculty from IMT-G (Professor van Genderen) address the MBA students as part of the Summer School programme. As part of this, Professor Taylor has given guest lectures to Dubai-based students.

The Conclave brought together academics and senior managers from IMT-G's global partners, including The University of St Gallen, University of San Diego and University of Macquarie, with leading figures from Indian industry and business. Professor Taylor was a lead contributor to panel discussions. Strathclyde Business School won the award for the 'Best Emerging Global Partner' at the event.
