Executive Masters in Hospitality and Tourism Leadership taster

Prospective students from across the hospitality sector came together at Strathclyde Business School's Centre for Corporate Connections to hear more about the Executive Masters in Hospitality and Tourism Leadership programme on May 5.

With representation from the Townhouse Collection, Apex and Best Western Hotels as well as staff from the Business School in attendance, the session sparked debate and stimulating discussion. Visiting Professor Ros Taylor delivered part of the 'Leadership Skills Development' module currently available on the programme which took participants out of their comfort zone giving them the opportunity to evaluate their own leadership skills.

Alan McIntyre, Executive Director of Post Experience Programmes said, "The attendees were eager participants which meant the morning was both fun and informative. It was a true reflection of how each module on the course runs over the two year period, demonstrating the importance of peer to peer learning – a key element of the programme and one which is always deemed to be of great value to our alumni and current students of the course."
