'Post-election economic challenges: Scotland and the UK' is the title of an event organised by the Fraser of Allander Institute (FAI) and the International Public Policy Institute (IPPI) for July 1.
Long term issues facing the Scottish and UK economies, including investment, export and productivity performance will be discussed at the event. Professor Brian Ashcroft, Economics Editor of the Fraser Economic Commentary, will give the keynote presentation based on the forthcoming Fraser Economic Commentary, sponsored by PwC.
The event also includes an opportunity to question a panel of experts including: Paul Brewer (PwC), Will Dowson (Bank of England) and Alf Young (IPPI). The event, chaired by Jeremy Peat (IPPI), will be of interest to senior representatives from business, the public sector, government and the third sector.
The event will take place on July 1 from 12.30-2pm at the Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC), 99 George Street, Glasgow.
