Dr Aliakbar Jafari has won Emerald's Citations of Excellence Award (2015) for his article "Islamic Marketing: Insights from a Critical Perspective" published in Journal of Islamic Marketing (2012).
Each year Emerald Group Publishing awards certificates to highly cited papers. The selection process is based initially on the citations being given to papers published in a previous year (in this case 2012), but the judging panel also take into account the content of the papers themselves in terms of novelty, inter-disciplinary interest and relevancy in today's world.
