Professor Jonathan Levie of the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship addressed the Thailand Management Association Competitiveness Conference in Bangkok in July. He also ran a workshop on entrepreneurial ecosystems for the STI entrepreneurship fellows’ programme.
Professor Levie was also one of two expert faculty members on the CONEEECT programme for entrepreneurship educators in Lisbon, Portugal, from July 20-24 alongside Professor Jerry Katz of the University of St Louis.
Strathclyde Business School is hosting the latest seminar in the ESRC seminar series on work regulation. The series ‘Regulation of work and employment: Towards a multidisciplinary, multilevel framework’, the seminar on September 17 will look at the future of Regulation, and is supported by the Marie Curie ChangingEmployment ITN.

Professor Eleanor Shaw, currently head of the Hunter Centre for entrepreneurship, has been appointed Vice-Dean (Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise) of the Business School, effective from August 1. Professor Shaw will continue to lead the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship while undertaking the VD (KE&E) role.
