Morgan Stanley and ACT recognise Finance students' achievements

Finance students Jonathan Tweedie and Matthew Johnston were recently awarded prizes sponsored by Morgan Stanley for being the best students in Security Analysis.

Andrew Smith, the Vice President, Regulatory Control at the Morgan Stanley Glasgow office who awarded the prizes at a special lunch, said, "This year's category was certainly competitive, and all the candidates should be proud of their achievements. It was a pleasure to meet Jonathan and Matthew during the prize winners' lunch. I was particularly impressed with their understanding of current events in finance - congratulations to them on winning this year. We look forward to hearing who the prizewinning students will be from this academic year so we can celebrate and recognise their success in 2016."

Matthew Johnston was a prize winner again along with Kirsten Innes, both receiving the prize sponsored by ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) for the best students in Treasury Management.

The prize was presented by Robert Scriven representing ACT.
