Strathclyde Business School is sponsoring The Herald Family Business Awards 2016, with Head of SME Engagement John Anderson taking on a judge role for the awards which celebrate Scottish family businesses.
SBS is sponsoring the Outstanding Contribution Award, an award which recognises an individual or a team which has made an outstanding contribution to a Scottish headquartered family business over the years, from any level of seniority.
John said, "SBS is a UK leader in family business research and education and is proud to continue to support the Scottish Family Business Awards. We are committed to addressing the lack of research on the impact of family businesses and have established the UK's largest family business research team based at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship to provide practical support and informed policy for this key sector.
"Our bespoke MBA25 with its core theme of family business and our pioneering Growth Advantage Programme are prime examples of this practical support for family businesses in Scotland."
The awards, now in their 5th year, will recognise and reward family businesses of all sizes and all sectors in Scotland. October 19 was the last day for entries.
