We celebrated 20 years of our Executive MBA programme in Greece this year, with a special event on December 9 organised by our Greek partner IMS. IMS and SBS staff attended alongside alumni, MBA students, British Embassy and British Council staff and business partners.
Professor David Hillier, Executive Dean of SBS and Assistant Principal gave a keynote speech while speeches were also made by Hatzidakis Kostis, former minister of Development, New Democracy party; George A Gratsos, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping; Professor George J. Avlonitis, recently retired professor at the Department of Marketing and Communication at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB); HE Deputy British Ambassador Andrew Staunton; and Dimos Katsiyiannis, Programme manager in J&P-AVAX SA, a recent MBA alumnus who was supervised by Professor Hillier.
Alan McIntyre, Executive Director of Strathclyde's Post-experience Programmes, was also in attendance.
