Professor Christine Cooper, Department of Accounting and Finance, has been awarded the BAFA Life-Time Achievement Award.
Professor Cooper will receive the award from the Trustees of the British Accounting and Finance Association at the annual conference dinner which will take place on April 11 2017 in the Scottish Parliament building in Edinburgh.
Life-time Achievement Awards (LAAs) are made annually to one or more individuals who have made a substantial and direct contribution to UK academic accounting and finance over the course of their careers. These individuals will have contributed via research, teaching or public service, and the award is only given to an individual who has spent a substantial amount of time within a higher education institute within the UK.
