Dr Graeme McLean, Marketing, has been working with Arnold Clark over the past few months to set up a partnership to offer paid summer internships for third year undergraduates and graduate job positions exclusive to Strathclyde. Arnold Clark is Europe's largest independent motor dealer, with over 200 branches employing over 10,000 members of staff.
The positions being offered to Department of Marketing students and graduates will mainly focus on Dr McLean's specialist area in digital marketing. Arnold Clark aims to make this a yearly recruitment of a number of our students.
Arnold Clark's Gary Higgins, Group Head of Digital Products and Marketing, attended the Marketing Department's "Communications in the digital age" class. He said, "Having graduated from the Strathclyde Business School myself back in 2003, it's really exciting to now be partnering up with the Department of Marketing to help find careers for the next generation of marketeers.

Arnold Clark are looking for students who have talent in communications, data, design, digital marketing, marketing, and media. They are also offering paid summer placements which run from June 18 to August 31 and students will gain invaluable experience in the company's specialist departments across all areas of marketing. The closing date to register interest in a graduate job role or summer placement is March 30.
