Strathclyde Business School research - CABS report

The Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) produces an annual report - Research Income for Business and Management - which showed Strathclyde Business School research ranked 7th highest in the UK.

The report used analysis of Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) Data from 2011/12 to 2016/17 and was published in April. The annual report provides analysis of research income in the field of Business and Management.

Research income continues to be split quite evenly between the Russell Group institutions and non-affiliated business schools - Strathclyde is in the latter group - with the two categories combined accounting for nearly 90% of total Business and Management research income.

The report includes a table ranking Business Schools by Research Income - schools which receive a combined total of £4 million of research income in Business and Management over the last three years. Fourteen institutions are ranked with Strathclyde ranking 7th in the table with over £7 million of research income.

Strathclyde also ranked 2nd in the table for non-affiliated business schools in the UK. Read the full report here
