Professor Phil Taylor of the Department of Human Resource Management won 'Best in Business Faculty' at the Strathclyde Union Teaching Excellence Awards on May 11.
He was one of five Strathclyde Business School staff shortlisted for 'Best in Faculty'. Shortlisted alongside Professor Taylor, were: Aviel Cogan, Niall McKenzie, Shona Blair, and Thomas McAlinden. A total of 46 SBS academics were nominated for the award.
Head of Department Professor Tom Baum said, "The Department of HRM is delighted that Phil’s outstanding teaching was recognised with the Faculty Award in this year’s Teaching Excellence Awards. This is well deserved and is testimony to the energy and enthusiasm but also academic quality which Phil delivers through his teaching."
