Dr Ying Zhang, Department of Work, Employment and Organization, received the University’s Global Engagement Fund and had a research visit to Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from June 12 to July 12.
During her research visit, she conducted a pilot study to examine how SMEs in creative industries utilise inter-organisational relationships to expand internationally. She also participated in the policy making discussion forum which centred on the international expansion of Chinese SMEs under the central government’s One Belt One Road initiatives. This event took place on June 25 at NanShan, Shenzhen, China, organised by the Chinese municipal government agency in Shenzhen.
