On 22 November the Work, Labour and Globalisation research group, based at the Department of Work, Employment and Organisation (WEO), hosted the one day International Colloquium, 'Insecurity for on is Insecurity for all' that addressed precarious work across the gig economy, education and primary production sectors in the Global North and South.
Keynote speaker was Professor Ursula Huws from Hertfordshire University, with contributions from academics, platform based courier workers and labour organisers from Scotland, Belgium, France, Germany and Brazil. A full report will be available at
