John Anderson, Head of SME Engagement at Strathclyde Business School, sits on the CBI Scotland Management Practices and Innovation working group – a lot of whose work is focused on the productivity challenge – and is now also on the CBI/KMPG Productivity Index Business Advisory Group.
The impact of the Productivity through People programme offered at Strathclyde was acknowledged in a CBI Innovation Report. Following this, the CBI/KPMG Productivity Index was launched on September 9 and John was invited to be part of the advisory group. He represented Strathclyde Business School at the launch together with Graeme Roy of Strathclyde Business School’s Fraser of Allander Institute who analysed the data within the report.
Strathclyde’s Growth Advantage Programme (GAP) was used as a case study in the Productivity Index document into how to invest in leadership and track performance by pinpointing business growth advantage.
