Dr Viktor Dörfler of the Management Science Department made three public appearances at AI events recently.
On January 30, as part of the La Nuit des Idées (The Night of Ideas) event organised by Alliance Française, Glasgow, UK, Dr Dörfler participated in a panel discussion: 'Artificial Intelligence vs human mind: what is the impact of our decisions in the field of AI, and therefore in our environment?'
On January 17 he delivered a talk titled 'AI and creative work' a the symposium of the Artificial Intelligence Initiative at the University of Liverpool while on November 3, as part of the Strathclyde Evening Talks series in Dubai, UAE Dr Dörfler delivered a public lecture: 'Creativity in the Age of AI: What the Future Holds for Knowledge Workers?'
