A report on floating wind, authored between colleagues in the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship (Dr Matthew Hannon) and Electrical Engineering (Dr David McMillan, Dr Maurizio Collu, Eva Topham and James Dixon), has been cited in Scottish Government’s recent Draft offshore wind policy statement: consultation. It is cited as evidence to inform both the potential scale of floating wind deployment that Scotland might expect and the type of support that is necessary for Scotland to safeguard its international lead in the fast growing sector.
