Professor Tom Baum of the Department of Work, Employment and Organisation, has been appointed Adjunct Professor in the School of Hospitality and Tourism at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.
Dr Viktor Dorfler, Department of Management Science, has had a number of publications over the summer including a book co-edited with Marc Stierand entitled “Handbook of Research Methods on Creativity”.
He has also had two journal papers accepted: “Investigating the Potential for Using Gamification to Empower Knowledge Workers, Expert Systems with Applications,” with Agnessa Spanellis and Jillian MacBryde, and “Bracketing: A Phenomenological Theory Applied Through Transpersonal Reflexivity, Journal of Organizational Change Management with Marc Stierand, and a book chapter co-written with Alina Bas entitled “Intuition: scientific, non-scientific or unscientific?” in “Handbook of Intuition Research as Practice”. He also had a paper at the Academy of Management’s online conference, co-written with Alina Bas and entitled “Tools for Exploring the Unknowable: Intuition vs. Artificial Intelligence.”
