Leading Forward with Robin Watson: November 4

Our Leading Forward seminar series is continuing online with Strathclyde alumnus Robin Watson, CBE, Wood Plc Chief Executive.

We were delighted with the turn out for our Leading Forward with Purpose seminar featuring Alison Rose CEO of the NatWest Group. Alison discussed her experiences on developing and leading a purpose-led organisation, and participants had many interesting and varied questions for her to answer.

Robin Watson will be joining us on November 4 and will focus on how to build resilience and agility into corporate strategy to deal with both the impact of a changing zeitgeist and emerging trends such as the climate agenda and the impact of globalisation, as well as unexpected shifts, including COVID.

There will be a chance to ask questions during the webinar which takes place between 4-5.15pm.

The Principal Sir Jim McDonald recently wrote to congratulate Robin on the award of his CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to international trade - Robin did his MBA at Strathclyde and everyone at Strathclyde Business School is delighted to see one our alumni recognised in this way.

Dr Lena Wilson CBE FRSE will once again be chairing this event bringing a wealth of business knowledge to the event. Lena, Non-executive Director of the NatWest Group and Visiting Professor at Strathclyde Business School, has been the driving force behind this popular series of events.
