Guest Speakers announced for R&D Management Conference

The R&D Management Conference, hosted by the Department of Marketing, has announced an impressive line-up of guest speakers.

Steve Rader

Steve Rader, Deputy Director of NASA’s Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation (CoECI), will deliver a keynote presentation titled ‘Adopting R&D to cope with Relentless Change: Reflections on 10 Years of NASA’s Innovation Efforts’. Steve will draw upon his 30 years experience at NASA to offer rich insights relating to the conference theme: Innovation in an Era of Disruption.

Ellen Enkel

Professor Ellen Enkel, University of Duisburg-Essen, will also be discussing ‘Innovation in an Era of Disruption’. Ellen specialises in innovation in products, processes, services and business models in the mobility industries. As Editor-In-Chief of the R&D Management Journal, Ellen will also be contributing in interactive ‘Meet the Editor’ sessions at the conference.

Riccardo Fini

Riccardo Fini will deliver a keynote presentation on ‘University Entrepreneurship and Impact’. His talk will showcase the commercialisation of lab-based technologies and the determinants and impacts of the process, drawing on ten years of research from projects in Italy, UK and USA. Riccardo is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management at the University of Bologna and a Fellow at Imperial College London.

Tim Marshall

Professor Tim Minshall, University of Cambridge, will also be presenting his research at the conference. Tim is Head of the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) and Head of the IfM’s Centre for Technology Management (CTM). His research and expertise surrounds topics of manufacturing, innovation and skills.
