Strathclyde Business School graduate Abel Aboh was a finalist in the British Data Awards in the Data Leader of the Year category.
The British Data Awards is an annual campaign that sets out to uncover data success stories. Organisations taking part this year include FTSE 100 giants, tech unicorns, innovative start-ups, public sector bodies, not-for-profit organisations and everything in between. Run by Predatech, the British Data Awards helps to discover and celebrate organisations that are passionate about data, no matter their size. The 2021 finalists have been chosen from 149 entries.
Abel did the MSc in Human Resource Management, graduating in 2011 and is currently Data Quality Lead at the Bank of England. He said, "This is a prestigious award in the data space and my fellow finalists are of a high calibre. Personally, I am humbled about this recognition and hopefully this will inspire someone out there to work hard and pursue their ambition to get recognition in their chosen profession. The Data and Technology space is growing and institutions and businesses across the country are looking to tap into this growing sector."
