FAI and Health Foundation assess determinants of health

The Fraser of Allander Institute has been awarded funding from the Health Foundation to assess how key socio-economic determinants of health have evolved in Scotland over the past two decades, from devolution up to and including the Covid-19 pandemic.

FAI’s project is part of a wider research programme, funded by the Health Foundation, to understand the evolution of health inequalities and the socio-economic drivers of those inequalities in Scotland. The outcomes of the review will support the development of policy to tackle the root causes of poor health and health inequalities.
