Scottish Development International and Strathclyde Business School UAE were honoured to host a dinner with the Scottish Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise Mr Ivan McKee in Dubai.
The event was attended by a number of alumni from Strathclyde Business School from varied and diversified industries who have been thriving in their respective fields. Stimulating discussions took place around business and enterprise within Scotland and the UAE and how we can collaborate further.
Academics from Glasgow who were in attendance were Peter McKiernan, Professor of Strategy, and Ian Wooton, Professor in Economics and Vice-Dean International, who greeted the Minister on his arrival at the event. The Minster toured different Scottish institutions on his visit to the UAE and will be visiting the UK Pavilion at the Expo2020 site to attend ‘Scotland’s Race to Net Zero Climate Tech event’. This event will also be attended by Strathclyde academics and current students.
