Strathclyde academic selected as expert in organisations resilience by UN group

Dr Aylin Ates, Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, has recently been selected as an expert in organisational resilience by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation’s (UNIDO) Learning and Knowledge Development Facility (LKDF).

Dr Ates was invited to a global Expert Group Meeting (EGM) in Vienna, which included esteemed researchers, private sector partners, government agencies and representatives, and experts from the field of resilience and skills development. The EGM explored resilience development initiatives, experiences and highlighted the need for looking at this challenging issue from the individual, organisational, and socio-technical systems levels. 

The output of the EGM will be published and the outcomes will inform the next UNIDO Forum on “Skills for Resilience: Are We Ready for a Skills Revolution?”, which will happen on October 19-20 2022.
