Participants on the bootcamp, which ran January 9-13, honed their skills in various simulations such as trading, market making, and asset management. On a very lively final day on campus participants completed an IPO roadshow and book building with the guidance of Amplify co-founder, CFO & COO Piers Curran.

The day culminated in an awards ceremony for the best performers in each category and the most successful IPO team. They were:

Best ReTrader Jitesh Motwani
Best Asset Manager Joseph McInerney
Best Investment Bank Trader Andrew Menzies
Best Hedge Fund Trader Lucas Marshall
Best Live Market Trader Joint price - Nathan Cooper and Jingyu Zhu
Best Investment Bank Team Team 2

Piers Curran congratulated all participants and highlighted that they achieved two ‘firsts’ in Amplify’s history: against expectations, 62% of traders ended the simulations in profit and for the first time all IPO teams managed to fully allocate their client’s shares.

Over 200 students received a Diploma certificate upon completion of the Bootcamp. Well done to all participants!
