Dr Aylin Ates, Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, has been invited to join the European Academy of Management (EURAM) Scientific Council, which includes a selected number of senior academics who serve as advisory council for making decisions on best papers, annual awards, and prizes. The council members play an important role to set up committees designating the best paper of the annual conference, the best reviewer, the best management book of the year, the research grants.
The EURAM Scientific Council aims to promote knowledge creation and collegiality across EURAM members, to recognise achievements, and more generally to serve as an advisory council for EURAM research related activities. The scientific committee members are asked to run the process for selecting the winners for annual awards and prizes.
After serving as an expert for the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), Aylin has also recently been recognised for her impactful research on manufacturing small and medium enterprise (SME) resilience by the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Aylin’s research has informed a recent comprehensive report published by the ILO on Determinants of Productivity Recovery and Business Resilience. The full report is available:
