The students toured the shop floor and learned about all of the work going on in the various different centres.

The students were delighted to meet Prabhakaran Gauthaman, one of our MBA alumni who now works at the centre.

The NMIS aims to drive the future of manufacturing through innovation, accelerate productivity to grow the economy and develop a vibrant workforce. It grew out of the University of Strathclyde’s Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC), and includes the Lightweight Manufacturing Centre, Digital Factory, Manufacturing Skills Academy and Digital process Manufacturing Centre.
