New Executive Development Programme launched

Strathclyde Business School has partnered with Solvias, a leading pharmaceutical research, development and manufacturing company, for the launch of its ‘Vision to Value’ Executive Development Programme. The three-day inaugural module, held in Glasgow from September 17-19, brought together leaders from across the business to explore the first theme: Catalysts of Change – Culture, Customers and Strategic Thinking.

The programme is designed to equip Solvias leaders with the strategic, commercial, and leadership capabilities needed to deliver on our ambitious five-year vision. Through a blend of immersive workshops, industry case studies, site visits, and peer collaboration, participants are building the skills to translate Solvias’ vision into measurable value for customers, staff, and stakeholders.

Highlights from the launch included sessions on organisational purpose, entrepreneurial leadership, and strategy in pharma, alongside insights from guest speakers and an exclusive visit to the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland.

With four modules running through to 2026, this programme marks a major investment in the growth of Solvias’ people and the future success of Solvias.

The programme continues in November with Module 2 – The Growth Engine: Decisions, Resources and Growth Capital. This next stage will focus on sharpening decision-making, financing growth, and optimising resources — essential tools for delivering sustainable success.
