New chair of the Strathclyde UAE Entrepreneurial Advisory Board announced

Mohamed AlAli, Managing Director and Head of GTx Client Solutions, UAE at First Abu Dhabi Bank, has been elected as the new Chair of the Strathclyde UAE Entrepreneurial Advisory Board (SUEAB).

With more than 25 years of experience across retail, SME, corporate, investment, and global transaction banking, Mohamed’s career is grounded in leadership, people development, and strategic relationship building. A proud Strathclyde EMBA alumnus, he credits the University as a foundational influence on his professional and personal growth.

Thanks to outgoing Chair and Founder, Zoff Khan, whose vision established SUEAB in 2017 as a best-practice advisory board aligned with Strathclyde’s commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation through Strathclyde Inspire and its Supporters network. Under Zoff's leadership, the Board has delivered free advisory support to entrepreneurs and students across the UK, EU, Gulf, Asia, and Australia, with guidance spanning health, fintech, AI, agritech, retail, and education.

SUEAB members have drawn on cross-sector expertise to empower founders and organisations through structured, ethical, and practical advisory support.
