ZOOM - Getting Started
Logging into ZOOM on your PC
All students have a licence to use Zoom, where you can create student groups to chat online, create meetings with up to 300 participants and join online webinars and lectures.
If you have been on a ZOOM meeting before, chances are you will already have the client installed, so you don't need to download any more software.
If you have not, navigate here and install the "Zoom Workplace desktop app".
A small camera icon will appear in the system tray at the bottom right of your screen. If it is there, double click on the icon, if not click the Start menu and search for ZOOM
- When it starts, Click “Sign in”
- Click “Sign in with SSO”
- When prompted, the company domain is “strath” [.zoom.us]
- When prompted, use your eMail address and DS password to sign in.
You can also log-in direct to Zoom's Website and configure some additional options and settings at strath.zoom.us and for further instructions ZOOM has an on-line guide to logging in with Single Sign-on (SSO).
