The AI Curious programme is an introduction to this topic designed for those with limited knowledge of AI and is accessible to all professionals with a non-technical background. It aims to empower participants with essential knowledge and skills for integrating AI, including Generative AI, into their daily working lives.

This comprehensive curriculum goes beyond viewing AI as a mere automation tool, providing participants with useful insights into the skills required to develop their careers and knowledge in a world where technology is evolving at pace. Participants will explore fundamental AI concepts, learn how to apply them to real-world business challenges, and discover methods to harness AI in order to enhance workflow automation and drive impactful innovation.

The AI Curious microcredential is the first learning stage of the AI Literacy Suite. This foundational module establishes the essential knowledge base for AI literacy. It introduces the history and core mechanics of AI, emphasising how Generative AI can be integrated into daily professional workflows.

During the duration of this course, we will explore:

• AI Fundamentals: Detailed exploration of AI concepts, history, and core techniques.
• AI Techniques: Introduction to Supervised and Unsupervised learning and Prompt Engineering.
• Data & Governance: foundational approach to Data Science and Ethical & Responsible AI.
• Business & Strategy: AI in Business, including the effective use of GenAI and leadership for non-technical roles.
• Soft Skills & Application: Soft skills, storytelling methods, and real-world AI applications.
