The J-Term programme offers a unique student experience over a two-week period in January. Here you will learn about the key theories and themes in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Lectures, seminars and field trips will help you to explore the evolution of various niche tourism industries such as Sport, Film and TV, Music, Events, Food and the Outdoors.

Arrival & Accommodation Check in Saturday 4th/Sunday 5th January 2020
First Day of Class Monday 6th January 2020
Last Day of Class Friday 17th January 2020
Departure & Accommodation Check Out Saturday 18th/ Sunday 19th January 2020

Accommodation

J-Term students will be based in welcoming and sociable accommodation within close walking distance to the Business School.

Credit

Your home institution may be able to award credits for participating in the J-Term. Typically, the J-Term is equivalent of 2.5 ECTS or 1-2 US Credits.

Eligibility

The J-Term is open to all current University students at any institution or those with an offer of a place at Strathclyde.

Fee

The total cost of J-Term is £1500 per student. PLEASE NOTE: Airfare, food and other spending money is not included in this fee. Students who register before 1st October 2019 will receive the Early Bird Discount of £150. Group discounts are available for partner Universities; please contact us directly for details.
